Phase Two Sleaford Rd. - Getting out of the Ground!!

It’s been a tough start to the year with some last minute changes to our Groundworkers and freezing weather holding us up. We’re please to say that thanks to our amazing team the footings are now underway and we’re officially off and running with our first two new build houses.

A planning condition stating that we needed to be a specific height out of the ground (due to Environment agency flood rules) has meant that we have a very technical foundation. Due to this there is a retaining wall running around three sides of our build to satisfy building control, we took this opportunity to add some block and Beam patio areas to the design at the rear of the houses which will look fantastic when finished.

We have some very understanding neighbours who are working with us to ensure the boundary between the two plots is finished to a standard both of us are happy with. It really does pay dividends to be honest and straight talking with those affected by property development, any project creates noise, mess and most of all a lot of change which causes worry and anxiety for adjacent residents. Looking out for our neighbours is very important to us.

The TImber frame will be erected in the first half of March and we’re aiming to be finished by June 30th.

In other news we’re pleased to announce that we have qualified for “Help to Buy” status and both houses will be available under this scheme.
